These Photographs were taken from a video which is the reason for the poor quality.

All these photo's are from the same incident, there were five buildings involved plus the occasional brush fire. Strong winds, lack of accessibility, and 1880's balloon construction helped in the rapid advancement of this fire. This was Mutual Aid at its finest, Jamestown, Newport, North Kingstown, Newport Navy, Exeter, East Greenwich, City of Cranston Fire Academy, U.S. Coast Guard with three Cutters two of which were supplying water from Narragansett Bay, Town of Jamestown Highway Department Employees, The Salvation Army and the Employers of many of our Members.
